About Rootan NZ
Rootan NZ is the New Zealand section of Rootan (rootan.pro), an independent publisher that explains gambling rules and gambling maths in plain language. Our main site publishes Thai-language guides to gambling risks.
What we publish
Guides to New Zealand's online casino rules, tools that show the maths behind bonuses, and links to free support services. We do not list, rank or review individual casinos.
How we are funded
Rootan NZ carries no casino advertising and no affiliate links, and we take no money from gambling operators. New Zealand's rules ban licensed online casinos from paying publishers per sign-up, deposit or play, and prohibit advertising unlicensed casinos. If our funding ever changes, this page will say so before anything changes on the site.
How we research
We work from primary sources: the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 and its Regulations on legislation.govt.nz, and guidance from the Department of Internal Affairs. Every guide links to the sources it relies on and shows the date we last checked it. We are not lawyers, and our guides are general information, not legal advice.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help draft and structure pages and to build our calculators. Facts, dates and numbers are checked against the sources before publishing. Calculators show averages under stated assumptions; they do not predict results.
Corrections and contact
If you spot something wrong or out of date, email asia24th.cm@gmail.com with the page link. We check against the original source and update the page and its "checked" date when we make a substantive change.
Privacy
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate. It does not use cookies or track you across sites. Our calculators run in your browser and do not send what you type to us.
